What Customers Say About Rigid Steel Universal Tool Stand - Saws, Bench Grinders, Sanders:

Home Depot and Lowes sold something similar, but at over twice the price of this stand for $50.Like another reviewer mentioned, I'd have given it 5 stars too if it wasn't for the cheap thin rubber feet, they have already worn though from just sliding on my garage floor during assembly and for the lack of any worth while instructions on putting it together. This stand is not bad for $19.99, shipping from Kansas to Florida via UPS ground (cheapest shipping method offered) on the other-hand cost almost as much as the stand at $14.34, that comes to over a $1 a pound, plus taxes. Still it was the least expensive of all the tool stands that I found on the internet and locally. However, as long as you have some basic mechanical skills, assembly isn't really an issue. Once assembled, I added a plywood top and mounted my almost 30 year old 8" Rockwell table saw to it and couldn't be happier. With the exception of the shipping costs, this stand is an excellent valve for the money.

This is by far the cheapest built, worst item I've ever purchased online. Not only did it have more than half the hardware missing, but the strength of the steel is very poor. I would recommend the mfg. discontinue this item or improve it's stability.

This is not a super heavy duty $50 stand but it doesn't cost near that either. Very much dragging on the floor and they're going to be worn through.

It in not made of exactly heavy gauge steel but not a light guage either. All parts on mine were accurately stamped so that there was no hole that was that agrivating "within a knat's hair" of fitting.

I certainly did not think that this was a cheap piece of flimsy Chinese junk. If you loose a piece in that great hole in the universe where nuts, bolts, and washers disappear into these are all connecters that can be found at the local tool-in-a-box store. The down side is that the rubber feet are puny for the job.

The pain job on the parts was of good thickness, not just a quick single coat. Another plus was that all bolts, nuts, and washers are the same size so that there is no getting the wrong bolt in the wrong hole and having to go back and locate it.

Also this stand comes without any assembly instructions, but to be honest, it's really not that hard to figure out, especially as that there are only one size of each connector. This is a great value in a light to medium duty stand

This stand is well worth the $16.88 price. I had no problems with assembly or hardware. I took off a star for the poor quality "rubber feet" --- they're cheap, cheap. Could have been a 5-star review otherwise.

What a neat Tool Stand. The saw weighs 65 lbs. What fast turn around. The Tool Stand is used to holds a Drill Press.

This Tool Stand by Cummins was the best in my opinon. The Drill Press weighs 100 lbs. I looked all over the Internet, only to find 2 tool stands.

It is very sturdy. And the cost was only 1/3 the cost of the other one. It seems like after ordering it, in a week the stand was dropped on my front step.

Now I have another Tool Stand on order which will be used to hold a Jig Saw. The Cummins Tool Stand is a great buy.
